At Microbiology department of University College, Hampanakatte Mangalore,following water testing facilities are available for all.
Physical test
Chemical Test –PH, Total Hardness, Chloride, fluoride, Nitrite, Iron
Microbiological test (by MPN-Most probable number)
Note :
Water samples from Well, Bore well, Pond, stream, RO water plant ,Overhead tank , Aquaguard, Hotel, food industry, Hotels ,Bakery industry and etc. are tested here.
For Microbiological test, water must be brought in a sterile water bottle. Sterile bottles can be collected from Microbiology department.
Physical and Chemical water testing reports can be given in one day.
Microbiological Water testing report can be given after 3 days.

9:30 am – 4:30 pm on Monday to Friday
9:30 am – 12:15 pm on Saturday
Department is Closed on Sunday and on Govt. holidays.
